Photoshoot for uglycowpretty Portland Clothing Line {Portland Product Photography}

12 Apr

We’ve been contacted by many Etsy shops recently interested in our photography for their advertising. We are so excited, but wanted to start this road off right and close to home. It is so important to support your small local businesses (we sure appreciate it!) and to treat the world with respect by re-using and recycling. We were so happy to have met Lupe from uglycowpretty. Lupe takes previously loved and cared for fabrics and uses her incredible creativity to make them into something fun and new for your little ones to wear! We asked Lupe to give us a little information to share with you about what she does:

A little bit about: uglycowpretty.

My main objective is to dress the babe in your life in stylishly upcycled, chic and smart clothes that are constructed with recycled materials. Including but not limited to: linens/tablecloths/various clothes/onesies/shirts/hoodies.

I acquire nearly all of my materials second hand, though I do use new fabrics every now and again. (And of course, on request) I transform ordinary clothing/fabrics using dyes, and unexpected combination’s of patterns/colors. I love doing custom design’s using your ideas and my bold sense of style to create a one of a kind piece that is sure to please your eyes! Also, I LOOOOOVE making gender neutral pieces!! Go to to see more fashions, and to procure your own!
Or you can email me, Lupe Funes at
We photographed so many cute items, but this gorgeous outfit took first place in our hearts. From the vibrant hand dyed lace to the bright and textured flowers with embroidered stems, we just can’t take our eyes off of it!
All of her overalls are gender neutral and made with fun and exciting combinations of colors and patterns.
We just can’t get enough of the skorts and flower tops, so precious!
She also makes great applique tops to coordinate with her skorts and overalls.
We want to thank all of our models again for coming out to play! Visit and see her other amazing pieces!
