We were so excited to do a session with this fun family again! It is amazing how much this High school Senior has grown since our last session just six months ago. This family is always a blast to hang out with, my stomach hurts after laughing for the entire hour. We did manage to compose ourselves for some great shots.

Taking professional pictures all the time our kids are used to us dressing them up and taking them to our favorite photogenic places. But we try to always remind each other not to forget about the “regular pictures.” You know…. the ones you probably won’t frame on the wall, the ones you’ll show them one day and laugh.
We had a great Mom and Me session last weekend. Something Mom is sure to treasure and hint, hint Dad….. Mother’s Day is coming up!
I thought I’d take a minute to explain the benefits of having two photographers. There’s the extra number of shots taken, which mean more photos for you in your gallery. There’s the extra pair of hands helping to direct you or your children. And of course there’s the fact you get to spend an hour with two awesome people instead of one 🙂
While editing pictures this weekend it happened again. It happens every session, but for some reason we are always surprised…. and delighted. We’ve captured the same moment from two perspectives. There is different composition and different lighting. I wanted to post an example to show you the benefit of having two photographers and to show you how we work with the natural light for different effects.

*Must be a Senior graduating in 2012 (2011 Junior)
*Must go to a school in Portland or the surrounding areas (Sherwood, Tigard, Wilsonville, etc.)
*Must be stylish, outgoing and involved in school/after school activities and clubs.
*Must be willing to hand out cards and talk with people about their experience with E.C. Photography
*Parents must accompany you to your session with E.C. Photography and sign a model release
E.C. Photography will have all rights to use your photos in our portfolio and advertising.

Spring and Summer are full of birthdays it seems and are always so much fun to do. This Candy Shoppe themed party was designed and photographed by E.C. Photography Portland, enjoy!

To the left of the main table was the drink table. Decorated with beautiful jars and striped paper straws for drinking and a dum dum topiary for ooohing and awwwing…. and eating 🙂
Full of candy and fun the girls were all smiles!
For some reason they didn’t fight over the sandwiches wrapped in adorable paper and tags of their own……
Perhaps the bright yellow and vintage pink treats were too much of a distraction?
Along with a gift box full of candy, each girl went home with a special lollipop cookie.
And one lucky winner went home with 158 gumballs 🙂
All said and done it was yummy to look at and eat!
